Before installing an iOS app from a store page, TestFlight invite, or configuration profile, it helps to separate three questions: where the file or profile came from, who maintains it, and whether the update history looks consistent. 1. Start with the official source Check whether the developer name, support page, privacy policy, and version notes match across the app page and the developer's own website. If one source says the app was updated recently while another still shows an old build, pause before installing. 2.
